Vintage Farberware Open Hearth Electric Indoor Broiler Rotisserie Barbecue Grill

The following auction is for a vintage Farberware Open Hearth Rotisserie grill. It is used. It is a little dusty/dirty from being in storage and needs cleaned up. It has some scratches, scuffs and wear. Overall it is in really nice shape. I do not think it was used much.
I plugged in the heater coil and it worked fine. I plugged in the rotisserie unit and I could hear it hum, but it was not turning. I took it apart and sprayed a bit of WD-40 on the gear wheels, and waited a bit. When I plugged it in it seemed to work fine and turn, as it should. I let it run about 15 minutes and it seemed fine.
I think the gear oil on the inner mechanisms got thick over time. I would think it was gummy due to lack of use in the last 30 years. It seems to work fine now, but you may want to oil it eventually.
The box has stains, marks and tears on it. It is not in horrible shape, but is far from perfect. Do not buy the auction for the box, buy it for the nice unit. Consider the box a bonus.
